    SEAI grant on infrastructure

    THE CHALLENGE

Addison Park wanted EV charging in its visitor bays, a practical, cost-effective start that wouldn't need re-doing when demand grew. The brief was to get chargers in now and lay the groundwork to expand easily later.

    THE SOLUTION

    • Chargers in the visitor bays — 4 Easee 22kW chargers on dual posts, ready for residents and visitors.
    • Blanks pre-cabled alongside — 4 pre-cabled blanks that double capacity with just a Chargeberry, no new wiring.
    • Dedicated EV cabinet — fed from the landlord supply, with an Easee equaliser for load and phase management.
    • Room to grow — the network is laid out to expand up to 20 chargers as demand rises.

    THE RESULTS

    • 8 bays cabled and charger-ready in the visitor area.
    • 4 chargers live, with 4 blanks ready to activate in minutes.
    • Maximum SEAI grant secured on the infrastructure.
    • A clear path to 20 chargers without fresh civils works.

    WHY THE APPROACH WORKS

Starting small doesn't have to mean starting over later. By cabling blanks in alongside the live chargers and sizing the cabinet to grow, Addison Park can double its charging with a two-minute part swap, and scale to 20 chargers without touching the groundwork again.
